In June 2019, Beijing Daxing International Airport officially landed and entered the acceptance stage, which is bound to make the world once again lament the speed of China’s infrastructure. As one of the participants in this infrastructure miracle, Osram has helped the Beijing Daxing International Airport to develop its advanced light with its energy-saving digital lighting scheme. Due to the central skylight, strip skylights, bubble skylights and a large number of glass designs, the entire building has excellent interior lighting and 70% of the core area has daylight. Compared with the Capital International Airport, the indoor core area lighting is reduced by more than 75%, and the energy saving estimate is over 40%, which lays a good foundation for the overall green energy plan of the building.

Nearly one-half of the lighting and control systems in the core area of the central office are provided by OSRAM, including brilliant high-powered downlights and brilliant LED floodlights.
