Signify today announced that its joint venture Klite will invest in the construction of a new LED lighting production base in Jiangxi Province to meet the global demand for capacity expansion. The base will be used to produce LED lighting products including Philips and other brands to serve China and other global markets.
“The newly-built production base is located in Ruichang City, Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, and is expected to be completed and put into operation in the first quarter of 2021. The smart LED production line in the base adopts global production technology and process control methods. The main products include smart LED light sources and lamps for the consumer and professional lighting markets.”
